Privacy Policy

HuddlePal collects as little as it can: enough to sign you in, keep your playbook, and bill paid teams. We don't sell your information, we don't show ads, and we don't use tracking or analytics cookies.
This policy covers huddlepal.app, run by Space City Apps, a sole proprietorship based in Texas, USA. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect

| Team roster and practice plans | The players you add (a first name or nickname, jersey number, usual positions and a short note) and the practice plans you save, so plans can show each kid's spots. |
| Billing references | For paid teams, the Stripe customer and subscription IDs. Your card details go to Stripe, never to HuddlePal. |
| Sign-in sessions | A cookie that keeps you signed in. We store only a scrambled (hashed) copy of it. |
The roster asks for a first name or nickname only. Please don't enter players' last names, ages, photos, parents' contact details or other personal details about children. A first name and a position are enough to run a practice.
Cookies
HuddlePal uses only the cookies it needs to work: your sign-in session, plus a short-lived cookie during Google sign-in. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
Who helps us run HuddlePal
We share information with these service providers only so they can do their part of running HuddlePal:

| Anthropic | Generates AI play, motion and practice-plan suggestions. Only when you ask for one, we send your request and the relevant plays. A practice-plan request also includes your roster (first names or nicknames, numbers, positions and notes). |
| Cloudflare | Delivers and protects the site. Like any network, it handles your IP address. |
| Google sign-in (if you choose it) and the site's fonts. |
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect HuddlePal, our users or the public. If HuddlePal is ever sold or transferred, your information would go with it under this policy, and we'd tell you first.
Who on your team can see what
Coaches on your team can see the team's plays, notes, roster and practice plans. Coaches on a team may see each other's email addresses in the coach list. Other teams can't see your playbook.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and playbook while you use HuddlePal. Sign-in sessions expire on their own. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and any team you head, with its plays, roster and practice plans, within 30 days. Copies in backups may last a little longer before they're overwritten. Stripe keeps billing records as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- See or correct your information: most of it is right there in the app. For anything else, email us.
- Delete your account: email us from the address you sign in with.
- Leave a team: ask your head coach to remove you, or email us.
Depending on where you live, you may have more rights, like getting a copy of your data. Email us and we'll help.
Children
HuddlePal is for adult coaches. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
HuddlePal is served only over HTTPS. Sign-in uses one-time codes or Google instead of passwords. Session cookies are stored only in scrambled form. Payment details stay with Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and fix problems quickly.
Changes
If we change this policy in a significant way, we'll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
